Cinematic Storytelling for Mission-Driven Organizations
I’m Matt Eng — a filmmaker and storyteller creating cinematic, documentary-style films shaped by the aesthetics and values of Scandinavia and the pioneering ethos of America.
Exploring the vastness of America from coast to coast a country marked by beauty, contradiction, innovation, and a constant struggle for identity led me to look deeper: into history, into the Christian faith, and across the Atlantic back toward the places my great-grandparents left in search of new lands.
Traveling through Scandinavia, I found more than landscapes and family names. In places like the Fantoft Stave Church, in Bergen I found a profound sense of peace and spiritual clarity, a connection to spiritual instincts and our aesthetic languages, both ancient and new.
Since then I’ve returned to work with creatives, nonprofits, and faith-driven communities across the Nordic region and back in the U.S., helping them share meaningful stories with beauty, emotional depth, and a principled narrative approach shaped by Christian tradition, philosophy, and the power of the gospel.
